Hi. I've been working in journalism for over two decades touching just about every facet of the media industry. I began as a freelancer for ANG newspapers in the Bay Area while in college. After graduating I started as an intern at Entrepreneur magazine before advancing to editorial assistant, research editor and eventually managing editor. I've been a freelance editor, writer, and web designer. I've run my own publication, coded my own website, sold ads, and run marketing campaigns. I currently take photos, podcast, produce a live stream, write columns, write and produce newsletters and will have my second book published in April 22, 2025. TL;DR I love every aspect of modern journalism.

"The Balance: My Years Coaching Simone Biles" combines unprecedented insider perspective on a legend, newsworthy details on gymnastics history, and compelling lessons on coaching, leadership, and development.
The Balance is coach Aimee Boorman’s inside account of the growth of a transcendent athlete and the tumultuous events—from the dictatorial coaching of Bela and Martha Karolyi to the sexual abuse by Larry Nassar—that upended the lives of many girls, including Biles. Boorman helped shape Biles, both pushing her and holding her back, protecting both her mental and physical health. “She’s like a second mom to me,” writes Biles, and Boorman was the National Team coach in 2016, where the US—and Biles—brought home all-around gold.

"Life is Short, Don't Wait to Dance" was published in 2018 with the legendary former UCLA gymnastics head coach, Valorie Kondos Field.
Former professional ballerina Valorie Kondos Field--or Miss Val, as she's affectionately known--has never tumbled, flipped, or even played any type of organized sports, and yet she has been able to craft a legendary coaching career through curiosity, creativity, attention to detail, and unwavering care for the overall well-being of her athletes. For Miss Val, it's not about winning and losing, it's about choreographing your life and owning the choices you make.
