Bottomless Curiosity
Hi. I’m Steve Cooper (aka, Coop or Scooper), a journalist with over two decades of writing, reporting and editing experience. I have covered a wide range of topics with my main focus being marriage, business, technology, and entrepreneurship. More recently I've leaped head first into the world of gymnastics.
I am the co-founder of Hitched, an online magazine dedicated to entertain, educate and inspire married couples. More recently I co-authored my first book “Life is Short, Don’t Wait to Dance” with UCLA gymnastics head coach Valorie Kondos Field. My second book, “The Balance: My Years Coaching Simone Biles” with legendary coach Aimee Boorman, is scheduled for release on April 22, 2025.
I have strong social media and web skills, having built websites using HTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, and more (yes, I put this website together myself noodling with a WorldPress template utilizing AI, Photoshop, CSS, HTML and other tools).
I also shoot photos and have covered major gymnastics competitions including World Championships and Olympic Trials for GymCastic.
I’m always interested in a good lead.
